Most of us start the year out with New Year’s resolutions or a list of goals. Whether it’s to be healthier, save money, travel more, or finish a project; most of us have something that we’re working towards. Well, the first quarter of the year has past. Are you still making progress? Have you gotten off track? Or are you somewhere in between? No matter where you are on the spectrum, be encouraged to keep moving forward. If you have gotten side tracked, it is never too late to regain your zeal and refocus. A good way to start is by pausing and asking God for guidance on how best to accomplish what’s in your heart. It is God who places those desires there and He’ll lead you according to His purpose for your life. He also will place people in your life at the right time to help you out along the way. Also, take the time to review what you planned at the beginning of the year and determine what you need to adjust in order to see your desires come to reality. It helps to have goals that are measureable and have a time frame so that you can track progress. If you need accountability, ask a trusted loved one to help you stay the course and encourage you along the way. For those who are achieving your goals and seeing your desires manifest, I congratulate and celebrate you! At the end of the year we should all be able to look back and see the progress that we’ve made. What I most hope for is that as the year is passing we are all becoming better people and are enjoying the journey. Feel free to reach out if you need an extra boost of encouragement or help celebrating your success!
Proverbs 19:21 (AMP)
Many plans are in a man’s mind, but it is the Lord’s purpose for him that will stand (be carried out).
