The Celebration Continues!!!

It is the last day of Women's History Month and I am sure you came across various literature and images about remarkable women all month long. Women have contributed so much to our society in so many ways but have not always been given proper recognition.

This month I want to share with you some words from one of the greatest writers of all time. She was one of the first poets that I was introduced to as a child and her writings are still relevant today. This piece is one of her famous creative works that celebrates the brilliance of womanhood. I am sure you have heard it recited numerous times and probably could belt out a few stanzas on your own. Although familiar, the words to this poem are still so powerful.
